I am really not into the whole 'new year, new me' bull crap, but I am an avid believer in setting up goals at the beginning of each year and spending the next 12 months working towards achieving them.
One of my goals for this year was to take part in a 10k obstacle course race better known as Wolf Run.
I completed a Wolf Run last year, but not quite the way I wanted to.
It was, in fact, my boyfriend Axl, who was part of the original Wolf Pack (that's what the teams are referred to as). I wanted to join however there were no tickets left. Someone from that pack had to pull out at the last minute and I stepped in and took their place. So you see, I didn't actually know I would be running 10k until a few days before the race itself. As you can imagine I was not prepared at all (not that this stopped me from enjoying myself). As a matter of fact, I loved every minute of the race.

Because this is something I've already done and enjoyed thoroughly I decided that this year I'd like to do it properly. Axl and I started our own Wolf Pack 'Chaffing the Dream' (love that name :P)
We've started training with a personal trainer to help us build some lean muscle and generally whip us into shape. I hope to lose a pound or two (or 28 ideally) in the process but whatever happens, I know it would be great.
